When novice tight end Harrison Bryant landed on him during practice Wednesday, Cleveland Browns cornerback Kevin Johnson has actually been hospitalized after he suffered a laceration to his liver.
Johnson, at first detected with an abdominal injury, is expected to be in the hospital for another day for observation, the team stated.
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski stated Johnson was diving to separate a pass planned for Bryant during a red zone drill.
