The sports broadcast veteran apologized during the second game of the doubleheader, after the clip went viral.

” I pride myself, I think about myself as a guy of faith,” he said. “I do not know if Im going to be placing on this headset again, I dont know if its going to be for the Reds. I dont know if its going to be for my managers at Fox,” he added later on.

” That is not who I am and never ever has actually been, and I d like to believe possibly I could have some people that can back that up. I am extremely, very sorry and I beg for your forgiveness,” the 56-year-old concluded.

The Hill has connected to Fox Sports Ohio for comment.

” I wish to apologize for the people who sign my income, for the Reds, for Fox Sports Ohio, for individuals I work with. For any person that Ive offended here this evening, I cant start to tell you how deeply sorry I am,” Brennaman continued.

He was later on eliminated from the broadcast.

Brennaman was employed by Fox Sports Ohio in 2006.
