A former Alabama linebacker is now part of a various in-state program.
Markail Benton just recently joined the team at Jacksonville State, a team spokesman verified to AL.com.
A previous four-star recruit, Benton posted 19 takes on as a redshirt sophomore at Alabama last season.
He entered into the NCAA transfer website in June.
