Man United captain Maguire detained on Greek island after brawl – ESPN

Manchester United captain Harry Maguire was detained for questioning on the Greek island of Mykonos for allegedly assaulting officers after a brawl, Greek state television ERT stated.
Maguire was apprehended after apparently assaulting officers who were called in to separate a brawl between two groups of travelers.

United have verified the England global protector is “cooperating with authorities” and they have actually touched with him.

” Contact has been made with Harry and he is fully co-operating with the Greek authorities. At this time we will be making no further comment.”
Maguire has been on vacation on Mykonos because Uniteds season ended with a 2-1 defeat to Sevilla in the Europa League semifinals on Sunday.
2 other Britons were also apprehended.
” The soccer player was verbally violent to an officer and after that struck him,” a police authorities said. “The 3 were withstanding when given the Mykonos police station.”
