The Big Ten and Pac-12 announced last week that they are postponing their 2020 football seasons and will not play in the fall since of concerns over the coronavirus. The ACC, Big 12 and SEC, the other three Power 5 conferences, are gaining ground with strategies to play this fall.

Reeves, in revealing his executive order, stated that there would be no game-day social events around arenas in the state of Mississippi, consisting of pep rallies, celebrations and tailgates. Reeves also revealed that seating capability would be limited to a maximum of 25% in the stadium.
Masks will also be needed whenever fans are strolling around, getting in the arena or leaving.
” Basically at all times unless youre sitting in your seat far from everyone else,” Reeves tweeted.
Reeves added: “Some states have chosen not to make any effort to play. I believe we have to try. We cant just desert athletes and culture.”
Southern Miss, which contends in Conference USA, is arranged to open the season on Sept. 3 versus South Alabama. Ole Miss and Mississippi State both open the season on Sept. 26 in addition to all SEC teams. The Rebels face Florida at home, while the Bulldogs travel to LSU.
