BEREA, Ohio– The Cleveland Browns got some good news Saturday, with cornerback Kevin Johnson being released from the medical facility and running back Nick Chubb returning to practice.
Johnson suffered a laceration to his liver during Wednesdays practice and will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis to identify when he can rejoin the Browns on the field.

Johnson, who signed with the Browns on a 1 year offer this offseason, was projected to be the teams beginning nickelback coming into training camp.
Chubb has remained in concussion protocol since Monday, when he was reduced with a horse-collar tackle during practice.
Chubb hurried for 1,494 backyards and 8 goals last season, coming simply 47 yards brief of besting Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans for the NFL hurrying title.
