Borderlands 3 DLC Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck announced – Polygon

Players will fight Kriegs “inner demons,” helping the 2 Krieg NPCs that represent his mind. While within Kriegs brain, Vault Hunters can make new weapons and cosmetics.

There is also a new level cap increase, free for all Borderlands 3 players, launching alongside the growth. According to Gearbox, this is both the largest level increase in the games history and the last one prepared.

In Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck, gamers will come down into the mind of Krieg, like the most violent Magic School Bus school outing Ms. Frizzle ever saw. Players will face brand-new opponents in beautiful, twisted environments– consisting of a huge Krieg NPC monitoring the battleground.

The vault hunters, guided by Patricia Tannis, are on the hunt for a location called Vaulthalla. Tannis thinks the search for Vaulthalla is the source of insanity in all of Borderlands Psycho enemies, and thinks she can help gamers discover it through Kriegs brain.

Borderlands 3s fourth piece of downloadable material will release on Sept. 10, in the nick of time for the games first-year anniversary. The brand-new DLC is entitled Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck, and happens inside the unsteady mind of Krieg, among the DLC Vault Hunters from Borderlands 2.

Gamers will also come across some familiar faces in Kriegs brain– the way he sees them– including Maya the Siren from Borderlands 2, and dark variations of Brick, Bloodwing, and Lilith from the initial Borderlands.

Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck is the last DLC in Borderlands 3s initial Season Pass. Its presently unclear if Gearbox will continue to support Borderlands 3 with growths, or just mini-events like the upcoming Anniversary Celebration.
