Tesla calls this Smart Summon, but in the future, Tesla owners might be able to ditch the phone, and “believe” their vehicle to themselves.
While giving a discussion for Neuralink, a brain implant research company, CEO Elon Musk answered a concern from Twitter. The individual asked if, with a Neuralink implant, a person would have the ability to summon their Tesla telepathically. Musk instantly responded to yes, following up that it would be simple.
Benzingas Take: While this sounds quite wild, Musk has actually made and executed some strong guarantees prior to. Many questioned it was possible or possible when he talked about landing and recycling rockets with SpaceX.
If its drizzling and you desire your cars and truck to come to pick you up, Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA) lets you do that. Owners can pull out their phones, press a button, and their car can drive itself to the owners area.
Neuralink has not yet been tested in people, and the company is working carefully with the FDA to establish very first human trials.
So while this isnt something thats expected to be available in the future, it will be interesting to see how this advances and how Neuralink will improve the Tesla experience.
