It sure looks like the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G just passed through the FCC – Android Police

The four FCC IDs we saw appear are A4RGD1YQ, A4RG025E, a4rg025i, and a4rgtt9q. The A4R prefix is for Google products, with the design numbers for the phones comprising the rest of the ID. Clicking around, it turns out there are two extra model numbers: G5NZ6 and G025H.

That indicates there are two trios here; G025H, g025i, and g025e are for the Pixel 4a 5G (the requirement 4a has design number G025J). Its reasonable to presume, then, that GTT9Q, gd1yq, and g5nz6 are for the Pixel 5, particularly because theyve been checked for wireless charging.

LTE and 5G bands for the apparent Pixel 4a 5G.

Those familiar with FCC filings for phones will understand that it typically indicates an impending debut. We saw the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL pop up at the FCC at practically exactly this time in 2015, and now were seeing four model numbers that are nearly certainly the upcoming Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G

LTE and 5G bands for the obvious Pixel 5

Both phones have essentially the same LTE and 5G band assistance, with one exception: GD1YQ (Pixel 5) has 5G bands n260 and n261, which indicate mmWave support. Provided mmWaves included expense, were not surprised it will not remain in the $499 Pixel 4a 5G. The spectrum that Project Soli uses (and that we saw in the Pixel 4 FCC filings), 58-63.5 GHz, is absent on the Pixel 5, which we anticipated considering that Soli is rumored to have been ditched.

The Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G will probably be revealed sometime in early to mid October, if previous Pixel statements are anything to go off of, so weve got a little over a month to go until whatever is exposed.
