Former New England Patriots pass receiver Josh Gordons championship ring from Super Bowl LIII offered at auction for $138,000, according to a report Tuesday.

Gordon was restored prior to the 2019 NFL season, however the Patriots decided to waive him. He signed with the Seattle Seahawks and played seven games for the team, but was suspended again last December for violating NFL policies on drug abuse and performance-enhancing drugs.

If approved, the NFL veteran used for reinstatement in June and is expected to pursue a comeback.

Gordon, 29, did not personally offer the ring, TMZ Sports reported in July. The auction was performed on behalf of an unnamed memorabilia dealership. Heritage Auctions initially set an anticipated price tag of $100,000 for the ring.

Gordon got a Super Bowl ring for his contributions to the Patriots title run in 2018 in spite of not playing in the champion game itself. After playing a key role in the Patriots offense for 11 games, Gordon was suspended in December of that year for breaching the NFLs substance-abuse policy and missed out on the rest of the season, consisting of the playoffs.
