LG claims this device is simply the first one in its Explorer Project, which “will include devices that provide distinct and yet untouched use experiences,” while phones like the Velvet represent mainstream requirements in its Universal line.
The teaser does not plainly show the Wing in action, however LG revealed Rave, Ficto, Tubi and Naver as partners in the job, with the hardware powered by Qualcomms chips. Tubi is a name we understand totally free ad-supported video streaming, while South Korean search giant (and owner of the Line messaging app) Naver is apparently dealing with a tailored dual-screen web browser.
