The more I take a look at the more jarring it is. I love it. I indicate, I really love it. Its so delightfully various!
The Aston Martin Victor, an independently commissioned one-off cars and truck I only simply discovered from British good friends on social media, may be the coolest car to come out in 2020. I mean, begin: Weird multi-era styling, cashmere headliner, V12 … manual transmission?!

Some British publications and show-goers got to see the Victor in person this week at the Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace (where people dont seem too concerned about the coronavirus based on social networks pics) however an Aston Martin representative informed me there werent plans to put out a main press release about the Victor as the owner desires to keep the automobile “low profile.”
Plainly not too low key or the vehicle wouldnt have been wheeled out at a program, however I need to confesss kind of more enjoyable to be shocked by something like this than costs weeks dissecting teaser images.
G/O Media might get a commission

I guess AM wasnt too anxious about hyping it anyway, if its truly just making one, I guess its sold out! I did ask what the secret customer paid for the privilege of being the only person to own Astons most effective manual-shift supercar, however the businesss people unsurprisingly decreased to share.
The vehicle is special, which gets more difficult to pull off all the time. More specifically: “… the iconic Aston Martin V8 Vantage of the 1970s and 80s and the 70s DBS V8 that was established to race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans as the RHAM/1.”
Heres what theyre discussing:
Yeah, I was a little baffled about how “80s and 70s” vibes might be utilized to describe the exact same car however I get it after taking a look at the image. Its like, developed in the 70s, customized in the 80s.
Its quite cool the way this aesthetic was ported to an entire make over, and the oily bits (Britishisms are allowed when discussing a custom-made Aston Martin) are rifled from the coolest parts bin ever:
I dont generally get excited about ultra-elite supercars Ill never see in the skin however I have to state, this thing simply sounds incredible. At least, based on what we can see in these photos.
Will the world ever see this car again or what? In case we do not, Im just going to discard the entire stack of main images I got. Take your time with these, theres a lot going on.
Naturally aspirated 7.3-liter V12 from the One-77, tuned by Cosworth to a declared 836 brake horsepower and 599 lb-ft of torque.
Six-speed manual transmission made by Graziano (The UK division of axle authority Dana) with a “bespoke motorsports clutch” that would most likely cost more to replace than Ive invested on vehicle maintenance in my life so far.
380mm front, 360mm rear Brembo CMM-R carbon ceramic brakes.
Inboard springs and dampers from the track-only Aston Martin Vulcan.
Dealt with by the team bringing the Valkyrie hypercar to life.
Finished in “Pentland Green” and satin carbon fiber with a Forest Green interior sewn by fancy leather clothing Conker Bridge of Weir which used cashmere on the headliner. Likewise: The strong walnut(!) control panel is Crown cut, whatever that implies, and matches the wood shift knob.
