Clippers Montrezl Harrell wins NBA Sixth Man of the Year award – ESPN

LA Clippers power forward Montrezl Harrell has won the 2019-20 Sixth Man of the Year award.
For the third successive year, the Clippers have the leagues top sixth male after Lou Williams won the award the previous 2 seasons. The Clippers now have had the Sixth Man of the Year winner in five of the past seven years.
Williams shocked Harrell at practice today by providing him with the Sixth Man of the Year trophy at a group conference.
” I had this talk with my grandma and losing her this year, its still hard every day,” Harrell informed his teammates while holding the award in a video taken by the team at Fridays practice. “This is a significant honor. I thank you all you men, especially Coach [Doc Rivers], given that I came here, providing me this opportunity. Ive grown with you guys, specifically Pat (Beverley), Lou, been around you guys ever because coming into this league. This is really for you guys. I just want to state thank you.”
