Fans are most likely excitedly waiting for an update on George Kittle, and Shanahan supplied one.
The All-Pro tight end suffered a knee sprain throughout the first half versus the Cardinals. He left for the locker space just before halftime to be analyzed. Kittle returned with his colleagues in the 2nd half and bet the rest of the game.
Well see how he comes in on Wednesday,” Shanahan told reporters. “He was a little aching today, but well wait to see how he is on Wednesday to see if hes able to practice or be able to go this week.
A positive Kittle offered his own upgrade to Mike Silver of NFL Network.
” Good to go,” Kittle texted Silver. “On to New York!”
Clearly, the 49ers will be more careful.

Shanahan supplied an update on second-year pass receiver
Deebo Samuel, whom the
49ers put on short-term hurt reserve on Saturday. That implies missing a minimum of the next 2 video games after missing Sundays opener.
Shanahan was asked if Samuel had an obstacle last week. The coach had been positive that the receiver would be offered for Sundays game.
” Yeah, we didnt think it was a setback due to the fact that he was simply real sore after running one day,” Shanahan stated. “But the discomfort never ever got much better. It just worsened and worse after one specific day.
” Usually, after one day, when it was sore, we thought it was even if he worked it hard. But when that became worse every day and not much better, we understood it ended up being a little bit of a setback. Thats why we ended up putting him on IR.”
Shanahan included that the strategy is still to have Samuel back for the groups October 4 matchup versus the Philadelphia Eagles.
Shanahan also offered updates on two other receivers– Richie James and novice Brandon Aiyuk. Aiyuk was non-active on Sunday after trying to return from a hamstring injury suffered throughout training school. James suffered a hamstring injury against the Cardinals and did not go back to the video game.
” Weve got to see how he feels Wednesday, but Im definitely worried (about the broad receiver numbers),” Shanahan said. “Im still wishing to get perhaps Aiyuk back this week. I d be surprised if we dont, which assists. But Richie, I dont know yet. That would be a fluid circumstance all week, simply like it was last week.”
