The 2020 Maui Invitational is transferring to North Carolina, the tournament announced Friday.
It will be held at the Harrahs Cherokee Center in Asheville, North Carolina, with sources telling ESPNs Jeff Borzello the event will occur from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2. The field is still anticipated to consist of Alabama, Davidson, Indiana, North Carolina, Providence, Stanford, Texas and UNLV.
A main announcement is anticipated quickly.
The Maui Invitational is generally kept in Hawaii the Monday through Wednesday before Thanksgiving. It was moved this year since of the coronavirus pandemic and rescheduled due to the NCAA choosing to begin the season on Nov. 25.

” Were a tourism-based neighborhood, we fit that vibe of what an early-season competition would appear like,” Harrahs Cherokee Center basic manager Chris Corl told ESPN last week. “Our objective is to bring service to town. As long as we can cover costs, well do whatever it takes.”
