“College GameDay” has its destination for Sept. 26.
While it is the first Saturday of the season for the SEC fall season, ESPN’s popular pre-game show won’t be heading to SEC country. Instead, Kirk Herbstreit, Chris Fowler and the gang are headed to Miami for the Hurricanes’ game with No. 17 Florida State.
There are certainly plenty of storylines heading into the ACC showdown.
Earlier on Saturday, Florida State coach Mike Norvell announced he has tested positive for COVID-19. Deputy head coach Chris Thomsen will handle in-person head coaching duties until Norvell returns. The Seminoles are off this week.
Meanwhile, Miami’s Tate Martell opted out of the 2020 season, according to multiple reports. The redshirt junior was suspended for the Hurricanes’ season-opening win over UAB last week.
