Old enough that it honestly didnt bother me that much.
This questions for Spoff. When Wes used the phrase, “Ive been covering the Packers enough time to know …,” how old did that make you feel?

Through two weeks the Packers have the top offense in the league, however Im still not persuaded. Is the Packers offense this good or are the Vikings and Lions defenses that bad?
Itll be a much better gauge, and the start of more stern tests I believe. Its a little sample size through 2 weeks, but I believe Green Bays next 4 challengers could all be better than their first two.

I think theyve been the finest group in the NFC the previous 3 seasons, even though they dont have a Super Bowl look to reveal for it. Its a task the Packers could face this week. Whether we see these two offenses at their best will depend on the injuries to Davante Adams and Thomas.

. The Packers didnt draft for the present and were going to take an action back. The Saints prepared for today and were legitimate Super Bowl contenders. After two weeks, I do not think either of those statements was accurate. These two teams are evenly matched throughout the board, Hall of Fame QBs, dynamic RBs, and the list goes on. This video game needs to be exciting and close to view. How to you think these 2 groups match up?
If Davante Adams is not available could we see Aaron Jones at wideout?
The entire game? On a sector of snaps in certain bundles?

Brees, perhaps more than the majority of QBs because of his height and age and absence of movement, does refrain from doing well when getting pressure up the middle. When the Raiders got pressure from the middle, he threw a terrible pick on Monday night versus the Raiders at the end of the very first half. Many of the Packers pressure comes from the edge rush. Do you think the Packers change things up a bit to bring pressure from the middle to interfere with Brees?
Inside pressure is the hardest to generate however is usually the most disruptive, due to the fact that the QB cant step up. Thats what makes a guy like Kenny Clark so valuable. On third downs, Pettine normally has both Preston Smith, ZaDarius Smith and Rashan Gary on the field, with among them hurrying within, frequently ZaDarius. Inside pressure is an emphasis any game however nobody can simply snap the fingers and make it happen.
What element of the Monday night Raider game will the Packers be most interested in exploiting?
The Raiders had 30 hurrying backyards at halftime and finished with 116. That cant be ignored. Likewise, the Saints had no response for Darren Waller– 12 catches on 16 targets for 103 lawns and a TD. The Packers dont appear to have a tight end who presents the match problems Waller does, but theres no doubt in my mind that performance got LaFleur believing.
Hey Mike/Wes, even more to Wes saying that hes positive the Packers “will discover a way” to keep their guys in what is appearing like an extremely difficult offseason– I am not so sure. The team doesnt appear to have that much cap to play with and in my opinion they will just be able to keep a couple of the following: Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, David Bakhtiari, Kevin King and Corey Linsley. I understand these are questions for the offseason and to enjoy this season in the here in now, but sheesh thats looking hard.
I understand the coaches fascination with having the ability to score last in the first half and first in the 2nd half, however please, please, PLEASE provide Aaron Rodgers the ball if you win the toss. Maybe you wont require to score two times to return in the video game and the D can be pumped up by playing with a lead.
No concern, and I do not think Wes was talking about keeping all the guys you noted. I believe Bakhtiari and Jones are the top priorities, and when those get done, you see what you can do about any of the others. I believe thats the way the Packers are approaching it.
Through two weeks the Packers have the leading offense in the league, but Im still not encouraged. Many of the Packers pressure comes from the edge rush. Do you think the Packers switch things up a bit to bring pressure from the middle to interfere with Brees?

Youre focused on the psyche of the Packers, whichs fine. But the psyche of the challenger when a team can double up like the Packers did Sunday takes a substantial hit, larger than any gotten by an opening TD in my mind.
