Because they are children with tiny, fragile egos, the White Sox opted to plunk Willson Contreras in the 7th inning after his titanic bat flip earlier in the game.
White Sox reliever Jimmy Cordero and manager Rick Renteria, who came out to argue for some reason, were both tossed from the game. Cordero threw high, and he deserved to get booted immediately (and deserves a suspension, too):

This is the team that is led by Tim Anderson, mind you, one of the bat flippingest, most fun players in the game. You’d think they’d be a little more mature about this stuff by now.
Proving that the best revenge is living well, Willson Contreras bat flipped the hit by pitch, took his base, and later scored.
