A warrant for Williams arrest was received by the U.S. Marshals Service on Thursday and representatives found him at an address on Herrington Road, where they made the arrest, authorities said.
Williams, 21, is a Georgia native and went to Miller Grove High School, which has to do with 25 miles south of Lawrenceville.
Williams was arrested in connection to the slaying of Nurudeen Thomas on July 21 near the corner of 14th and Taylor Streets Northwest, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Sean Hickman stated Tuesday.
The 30-year-old Thomas listed homes in both neighboring Greenbelt, Maryland, and on the block where he was found fatally wounded soon after 5 a.m., police said. The criminal offense scene has to do with 6 miles far from Georgetown.
