3:02 PM PT– Dalzell formally plead not guilty to the kidnapping charge on Tuesday. Shes set up to go back to court for an initial hearing in October. Her bail was set at $200,000.
District attorneys say Dalzell faces up leading 8 years in state jail if convicted.
The L.A. County Sheriffs Dept. states the case stays under investigation.
The woman accused of breaking into Joe Montanas home and taking one of his grandkids simply got slapped with 2 charges that might land her in jail for a very long time.
The L.A. County D.A. just charged Sodsai Dalzell with two felonies– one count of attempted kidnapping of a victim under 14, and one of count of first-degree break-in.
According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Dalzell deals with up to 6 years in state prison if convicted of robbery, and approximately 11 years on the tried kidnapping charge.
TMZ broke the story … police officers say Dalzell burglarized Joes Malibu home over the weekend, and took his grandchild out of a playpen where she was sleeping. After being challenged by Joe and his wife, Jennifer, the couple was able to pry the kid far from her … with no damage.
Dalzell was gotten by police officers soon afterward as she tried to flee the facilities.
District attorneys advise Dalzells bail be set at $200,000.
