Im mad, too. Since I agree with almost all of your outrage!
In this weeks “U mad, bro?” Pittsburgh sports fans are mad about how the NFL is handling the Steelers-Titans post ponement.
They are also mad at attempts to certify the Steelers 3-0 start. Mad at the Penguins for trading Patric Hornqvist. And mad about the governmental debate.
Thats not what this weekly segment is supposed to be about. Arrangement!?

Pfft! Wheres the fun in that?
Last Thursday, I saw this tweet about some coronavirus guidelines that were being raised for on-field officials during ACC football video games.
To be fair, I likewise pointed out that Tennessees were 1-8. And I discussed that a lot of the AFCs leading teams had not played really difficult schedules up until now either.
Declaration? Eh, I dont understand what “declaration” it sends out aside from head coach Mike Tomlin stating, “Hey! Maybe we will not get punked by any rotten groups in video games we are plainly expected to win this year!”
A lot of Steelers fans are upset about how the NFL is dealing with the covid-19 location in the Tennessee Titans locker space.
” ONE TEAM in the history of the NFL has actually gone undefeated. ANY WIN in the NFL is a great win. And a strong win.
Its possible the Steelers might choose working on a short week or compromising the comfort of their present bye to playing a team with current positive tests. What if 2 groups deal with this again after the bye weeks? What if it occurs before a team is currently arranged to play on a Thursday?
But, sure, theres a one in 100 million opportunity that a field judge with his mask down during a play on a 100-yard field is going to transmit covid through an old-fashioned whistle.
I dont believe Hornqvist in fact put “worry” into any other team. He just irritated the daytimes out of everyone he dealt with.
” Playoff hockey is won in front of the internet. And the Pens, by Sullys insistence, are among the easiest groups in the league to play versus. This trade made them even worse because regard. I do not have an issue trading (Hornqvist), however the return made them even simpler to play versus. Absolutely no one hesitates to play against them now.”
This is the NFLs possibility to set a precedent for how theyll deal with this. Moving a game to Tuesday is not the best move. Hopefully its just pressed to Monday.

” How about respecting the grownups who are trying to come up with the best practices to securely play the games. They will discover and adjust as they go.”
If a game in Nashville can be moved, so can video games in Pittsburgh and New Orleans. Forget the tv “flex standards.” And there are zero (or limited) fans in the mean these games anyway.

When I expressed that opinion on Twitter, somebody named “r winter seasons” replied.
Well, heres one modification we need to all make when it pertains to creating “guidelines” surrounding covid-19 … for sports, and beyond.
I dont get why you cant have 2 Monday night games. They did it to open the season, didnt they? If you offer them 2 weeks to prepare modifications to programs, especially.

Classifications:
Steelers/NFL
Thats a statement.
Oh, Im sorry, you were stating something about grownups instituting “finest practices.” Please do go on.
A lot of fans I saw on social media were bent out of shape at the idea of making the Steelers, Titans and Baltimore Ravens juggle their bye weeks to accommodate the video game being pushed off of this weekends slate.

And there is something to be stated for that.
Health is being compromised differently by asking the Steelers to play a Tuesday game, then host Philadelphia next Sunday. Thats too extreme. Particularly because the club likewise has a 2nd short week when they play the Ravens on Thanksgiving.
What if a group loses 4 guys to injury in a video game that cant play the next game? Do they get a bye? Nope, play the game.

On the charge kill– and presumably on the forecheck– Colton Sceviour is supposed to bring a few of that tough component. And defenseman Mike Matheson should make the team harder to play versus in terms of his skating ability.
The NFL is essentially stating this is a league issue now. So if Pittsburgh is adjusting for the good of the league, everybody else needs to adjust for the good of the league as well.
Brian Metzer and I did our last frequently set up hockey podcast of the season this week. We invested a lot of time talking about the Patric Hornqvist trade to the Florida Panthers.
Heres what Paul provided up.
Moving the video game to Monday night is no big offer. The weather condition has done that to games before. So be it if a 24-hour delay permits both groups to play and keep the sanctity of their schedules.
Many folks seem to think the NFL must simply play the game on Sunday with as many healthy gamers as Tennessee can muster. Or, at the really most, move the video game to Monday, while not even considering Tuesday.

That got a good thread entering our comments section– as you may think of.
If Tuesday ends up being needed, move the next weeks Steelers-Eagles game to Monday so the Steelers have extra time to rest. And move the current Monday night video game (Saints versus Chargers) to Sunday afternoon. Or simply have 2 Monday night games next week.
JT had some ideas in our remarks section.
There are 13 video games to go. Maybe the Steelers have actually kicked that bothersome habit for one year.
News from the ACC: After assessment with the Medical Advisory Group, football officials will be allowed to use standard whistles in games this weekend. Officials might take down their masks when the breeze looms and might leave them down through the live ball period.

Now, you desire a real “declaration” from the Steelers? Be 6-0 going into the video game versus the Baltimore Ravens on Oct. 25.
Reconfiguring the byes is a concern on the Steelers, too. It should not be the Steelers responsibility to take an unscheduled, unannounced, early bye (while they practiced all week) and then play 13 straight weeks of football due to the fact that another group got ill.
… toward professional wrestling.
Also, waiting as long as possible gives the most time to recognize as lots of possible breeding favorable cases as they potentially can. Lets not forget, the health of the Steelers roster is being secured in that sense.
And lets ask ourselves if what we are doing is in the very best interest of security in general, or just in the finest interest of getting the approval of “coronabros” on social media.
I didnt even know those standards remained in place. And my goodness, how very dumb, anal-retentive, nonsensical and optically driven those standards were.
No, there is no replication of Hornqvists persistence and net-front presence to be discovered in the return from Florida. Nor is it apparent in anyone in their farm system. Nor will they be able to find it on the trade market or complimentary firm till they shed more wage.
A tweet came throughout my feed comparing this weeks governmental dispute to an expert wrestling match.
After the Steelers enhanced to 3-0 Sunday, I mentioned that their challengers were a combined 0-9.
That is impolite. Dismissive. And rude …
Because the main factor the refs went back to “traditional whistles” is that the electric ones they were using in the first few video games of this season couldnt be heard by the gamers, and the student-athletes were getting exposed to harmful late hits.
To put it simply, yeah. I concur.
Heres what should happen. Play the video game Monday night. Play Tuesday if that cant happen since more favorable tests keep rolling in.
Lets ask ourselves if whatever measure we are discussing is potentially being executed for practicality, or for show. Lets ask ourselves if we are sanctioning essential health practices or participating in “political theater.”
I know you are attempting to be amusing. Lets be clear.
Obviously, thats far more hazardous than a 300-pound lineman diving late on a tackle since he didnt know he must stop.?
