The next generation is a little bit more than a month away, as Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will release within just two days of each other. Designers are beginning to check out the new hardware specs, but one that already has a launch game coming says the brand-new hardware is an enormous upgrade.
Transmission is releasing Godfall, which is a PlayStation 5 launch video game. In a Borderlands retrospective interview with GameSpot, Gearbox creator Randy Pitchford talked about what players can anticipate from the brand-new generation.
” I constantly get so pumped when theres a capability to take an action forward with new hardware and brand-new technology, and anything thats going to empower us,” Pitchford said. “I think clients will understand how extensive of a difference it is to have the throughput capability that these brand-new platforms bring. Pitchford did care that it will be “difficult to see that in the preliminary launch titles” due to the fact that a lot of them are ports or video games that from the current generation being reimagined on next gen. Even still, he did state hes anticipating Borderlands 3 on the new consoles, with increased resolution and framerate. He also teased a new mode coming.
