The long-rumored Nintendo Switch Pro has been dripped by a retailer, suggesting the rumors that next year Nintendo will look to add an updated version of the Switch to the already existing Switch and Switch Lite family of consoles hold true. The leak comes way of Media Markt, a relatively major merchant in Europe, which just recently updated its website with numerous recommendations to a Nintendo Switch Pro. In reality, the console will occupy when looking for the Switch, Switch software application, and Switch devices, or at least it did. By the time youre reading this, its rather possible referrals to the console will be removed from the website.
This is all the retailer leaks. While there are multiple references to a Nintendo Switch Pro, there are no details shared about the console, which does potentially indicate these being placeholders based upon all of the reports of an updated Nintendo Switch that have actually been flowing recently.
While Nintendo has never mentioned an upgraded Nintendo Switch or whispered the words “Nintendo Switch Pro,” there have been lots of reports and reports declaring that Nintendo is releasing an upgraded version of the console next year to take on the next-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X. And while it seems inescapable that Nintendo will launch an upgraded Nintendo Switch, it probably wont come under the moniker “Nintendo Switch Pro,” or a minimum of this does not match the calling conventions Nintendo developed with the “Nintendo Switch Lite.”
At the moment of publishing, Nintendo has not commented on this Media Markt leakage, and its unlikely it will, as the business has a pretty rigorous “no comment” policy when it comes to reports, reports, leaks, and anything of the unofficial and speculative range.
