Who knew these little things were going to cause so much problem, huh?Despite Nintendos efforts to fix faulty controllers, the claim argues that Nintendo is in the incorrect for offering purposefully defective items in the first place. The complaint apparently reads, “Defendant continues to market and sell the Products with full understanding of the defect and without disclosing the Joy-Con Drift problem to customers in its packaging, marketing, or promotion.”
It continues, “Defendant has had a monetary motive to conceal the flaw, as it did not wish to stop selling the Products, and/or would need to use up a considerable quantity of money to treat the defect.”
The complainants are apparently asking for over $5,000,000 in damages.

Nintendo is dealing with yet more trouble over the Joy-Con drift phenomenon as a mother and her 10-year-old kid file a class-action suit versus the company.
Joy-Con drift describes an issue where your Nintendo Switch controller will sign up motion even when you arent applying any pressure to the control stick. The problem has actually produced a number of lawsuits, and has even forced Nintendos president to issue an apology.
As reported by Wired, this latest claim has been submitted by a lady called Luz Sanchez and her boy, who state that Nintendo hasnt done enough to repair a problem it is aware of.
Sanchez explains that the family console was bought in December 2018, with Joy-Con drift trouble beginning to appear within a month. Within a year, “the Joy-Con drift became so pronounced that the controllers became inoperable for general gameplay usage,” the problem says. A second set of Joy-Con controllers were acquired, but 7 months later on, they faced the very same issue.
