Was it a backwards pass? Should it have been a fumble?
Those are the concerns Arkansas fans are going to be asking for a long time after Saturdays narrow loss at Auburn, as a late spike effort by Auburn QB Bo Nix appeared to be a fumble instead.
On SportsCenter on Sunday morning, ESPN guidelines analyst Bill Lemonnier took a look at the play and stated it must have been Arkansass ball (by means of WholeHogSports.com):.
” To me this is a clear backward pass,” Lemonnier stated. “Replay needs to have reversed this and provided Arkansas the ball.”.
The ball was not granted to Arkansas, obviously, and Auburn kicked the game-winning basket. Now the Razorbacks discover themselves at 1-2 rather of potentially 2-1.
Thats a play that will add some serious fuel to the Arkansas-Auburn game progressing.
