15 characters on the base roster
Giovanna has been revealed as the most recent character for Guilty Gear Strive. She is apparently a body guard for the U.S. president.
Giovanna appears to be especially proficient with her kicks. Her trailer nearly solely shows her performing assaults or kicks that use the green wolf spirit.
Based on what was revealed, it seems that the 14th character is Mito Anji. Aside from DLC, there is only one more fighter to be exposed for Guilty Gear Strive.
This brand-new character is revealed battling together with a green pet dog or wolf spirit of some sort. Significantly, these two never appear to separate from one another during gameplay.
Near completion of the expose, we were informed that Guilty Gear Strive will introduce in early 2021 with 15 characters in the base roster. The next character trailer will debut on January 1, 2021.
Similar to Nagoriyuki, Giovanna is a newbie to the Guilty Gear series. According to the designers, shes planned to be an easy character to get.
