ARLINGTON, Texas– Clayton Kershaw will begin Game 4 of the National League Champion Series, Los Angeles Dodgers supervisor Dave Roberts verified after his teams 15-3 thrashing of the Atlanta Braves in Wednesdays Video game 3.
Kershaw suffered back spasms throughout a Saturday bullpen session and was scratched from his originally set up Video game 2 start on Tuesday, but Roberts stated he was making consistent progress every day.
The Dodgers were initially going to wait up until their medical department evaluated Kershaw one last time Thursday early morning, but Roberts felt comfy adequate to make the announcement after Wednesdays game.
Kershaw, who will match up against rookie right-hander Bryse Wilson, threw what Roberts referred to as a “pretty aggressive” bullpen session on Tuesday afternoon, before Tony Gonsolin took the loss while beginning in his location.
Now Kershaw will take the ball with his Dodgers down 2-1 in this best-of-seven NLCS.
