Ravens plan to add Dez Bryant to practice squad – NBC Sports – NFL

Ordinarily, the 31-year-old Bryant would not be qualified for the practice squad, which was meant for establishing younger, more inexperienced gamers. However under special guidelines designed to offer groups more lineup versatility throughout the pandemic, the NFL is enabling veterans like Bryant to sign on practice squads.

Yannick Ngakoue is not the only high-profile veteran heading to Baltimore.

A previous Cowboys All-Pro, Bryant hasnt played in an NFL video game considering that completion of the 2017 season. He briefly signed with the Saints but suffered an Achilles tendon injury in his very first practice. Now hell get one more chance to reveal he still has something left.

Dez Bryant is working out and taking a physical with the Ravens, and if all works out they plan to include him to their practice squad, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
