Samsung’s fast T7 SSDs are cheaper than ever at several retailers – The Verge

Samsung’s pocket-sized T7 USB-C SSD is steeply discounted at a few retailers. The price cut applies to the 1TB and 2TB models, both of which could make for speedy external add-ons for the PS5 or Xbox Series X / S consoles, in addition to the more obvious use case of connecting it your PC. The 1TB SSD is down to $160 (usually $200). As far as the color options of the T7, Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H Photo have them in red, blue, or black. If you want to double the storage to 2TB, that version of the T7 is $250 (usually $370) at Amazon. That’s a particularly good value.

I reviewed Samsung’s T7 Touch, a variant that includes a fingerprint sensor for added security. Some real-world benchmarking tasks proved it to be significantly faster at transferring data than its predecessor, the T5. In my testing of the standard T7, it seems to be just as speedy.

SanDisk’s 400GB microSD card is near its lowest price at Amazon and B&H Photo, making it a good time to pick up this must-have Nintendo Switch accessory. Normally around $60, it’s $50 at either retailer. This card figuratively pays for itself if you want the space to download a lot of games, since Switch games are rarely more than 15GB or so.

If you’re looking for a deal on Apple’s AirPods Pro, it’s at Woot again. They’re down to $195 (normally $250), which matches the retailer’s deal from last week. For those keeping tabs, this misses the mark of being the lowest-ever price by $5. But it’s still a great deal if you need to buy a set now for yourself or as a gift, as they cost $25 more at other retailers.

Bose QuietComfort 35

Bose’s QC 35 II wireless noise-canceling headphones are $200 at Amazon, matching the best deal we’ve seen for this model yet. Amazon recently hosted this deal during Prime Day, but it’s back for today. The QC 35 II aren’t Bose’s latest model, but for the price, they’re a great value if you want to isolate yourself from outside noises.

You can score a $20 discount on the Apple Watch SE at Amazon, with the 40mm model costing $259 instead of $279. This price cut applies to each model aside from the space gray aluminum Apple Watch SE that includes a black sport band. If you want the 44mm version, every color option except for the rose gold aluminum case with a pink sport band is $20 off its usual price at $289 (usually $309).
