Giants news, 11/4: Bench Daniel Jones? Joe Judge has simple answer – Big Blue View

Good morning, New York Giants fans!

“No.”

that was how Giants coach Joe Judge responded to a question Tuesday about whether sitting quarterback Daniel Jones was a consideration.

As for Jones’ performance on Monday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, when he threw two bad interceptions and missed several open receivers, Judge did his best to deflect the torrent of criticism being hurled at the second-year quarterback.

“I think there are a number of things we have to clean up on both plays. Nothing is ever one person’s fault,” Judge said. “It kind of starts with we have to make sure as coaches, we keep making the right calls. I think Jason’s done a really good job with that right now with the offense of changing some things up and giving our offense a chance to really be multiple and move the ball around. We need to make sure we keep continuing on protecting better. Then ball security across the board has got to be an emphasis. We need to all raise our level of play.”
