The 2020 Masters is going to be wild on Day 3. Saturday will start with the conclusion of Round 2 as Jon Rahm (-8) tries to vault himself into the lead, Tiger Woods (-4) attempts to get in contention and Bryson DeChambeau (+1) hopes to make the cut. There has been no shortage of drama and entertainment in this year’s edition of the Masters — even without patrons — and Saturday should be a full day of more of the same as the event tries to get caught up from a 3-hour rain delay on Thursday morning.
The cut will be made early in the day with the top 50 (plus ties) marching on to Round 3 later in the morning. Justin Thomas (-9), Dustin Johnson (-9) and Rahm are the clear favorites, but because of a soft course, there are 25-30 golfers in contention going to the weekend. If the first two days are any indication, the last two are going to be a joyride as we head toward crowning the champion of the 84th Masters. It’s Moving Day at the Masters, and it should be tremendous.
