Monday was one of my favorite days of the year. And I can say that even though I had to brave 40-mph wind gusts just to check the mail.
But that’s because Monday was the day that baseball’s 2021 Hall of Fame ballot was announced. And Hall of Fame voting season is my second-favorite baseball season of the year, right behind the actual season itself.
We can safely predict that nobody will be a unanimous Hall of Famer when the votes are counted in this election. But will any of these 25 names be a Hall of Famer when these votes are counted? That’s the drama here. So let’s consider the possibilities — with my Five Things to Watch on the 2021 Hall of Fame ballot.
