The Clemson Tigers were in Tallahassee on Saturday morning when their game against Florida State was postponed just 3 hours before kickoff.

Now, more details have emerged about what happened. FSU medical personnel didn’t want to play the game after a Clemson player tested positive for COVID-19 after traveling with the team.

On his Monday night radio call-in show, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney was still heated about the Seminoles’ decision, fiercely defending the Clemson medical staff:

Swinney also cited a game FSU played earlier this year after a Pitt player traveled and tested positive for the virus:

Clearly, this drama isn’t going away any time soon. The 2 schools could potentially play in December.
