It uses infrared to spit out a temperature reading in just one second, so you won’t have to convince a sick kid to let you hold a probe under their tongue. If you’re struggling to find a thermometer in stock, or you just want a backup, this might be a good option.

Coway Airmega 400 for $480
It’s not a precise Cyber Monday deal, but Coway makes our favorite air purifiers, and they seem to be cheapest this time of year. The 400 is has cost upward of $600 at times this year. It’s best for large rooms up to 1,560 square feet, and its price reflects that. It’s intuitive to use with touch controls and a color-coded air quality monitor, and its filters are easy to change, too.
The smaller Coway 200M, was also on sale but it’s currently sold out. (It’s usually around $120 from Walmart.) If you don’t need as big a purifier as the 400, it’s better to wait for the 200M to come back.
