Meghan King took to Instagram on Sunday to show off the new five-bedroom home she’s purchased in her native St. Louis.
‘Partial tour of my new house!’ the Real Housewives of Orange County alum, 36, said in a caption along the video clip. ‘I haven’t moved in yet but I want to show you the bones of my new house … here’s the first tour!’
The St. Louis native posted clips on Instagram Live and Instagram Stories showcasing the interior of her new abode, as she said she’s ‘trying to simplify’ her life with the purchase of the house, which she called ‘totally manageable.’

King said that she and her kids (with estranged husband, Jim Edmonds, 50) – Aspen, three, and twin sons Hayes and Hart, two – would live there along with their family dog Girly Girl.
‘No one is moving in this home except for me, Girly Girl, Aspen, Hart and Hayes,’ said King. ‘That’s it – that is everyone who will be living in this house.’
King has yet to fully furnish the home, which has wood panel floors and wooden doors, with much light pouring through the premises.
She showed off rooms earmarked for her office, a powder room, a laundry room and an expansive kitchen with an island area.

‘I think I’m gonna make this island bigger and I don’t have a formal dining room, I just have this area,’ she said of an open area of the home she had a table set up in.
She added, ‘I just got this table on Craigslist, so I’ll fit eight chairs around it.’
King said she had plenty of changes in mind for her home, centering around design, paint and renovations. She said that she was planning on converting the ‘huge space’ down in her basement for a kid’s playroom and a TV area.
King has been romantically linked with Utah businessman Christian Schauf, 39, since March, months after her split with the retired baseball player.

Meghan, who left the Bravo series after its 12th season, opened up earlier this month about her personal health, revealing that she had battled the coronavirus pandemic.
She said Sunday that she’s ‘fine’ in her health struggle with the virus, which she revealed earlier this month in an Instagram post,
‘I tested positive for COVID,’ she said. ‘I have been safe while traveling but I had an exchange on Tuesday where I did not protect myself and this is when I had to have been infected.

The mom-of-three said that while she didn’t run a fever, she dealt with symptoms including extreme lethargy and exhaustion, ‘sneezing, a mild cough, and diarrhea,’ and a loss of smell.
Edmonds also battled coronavirus earlier this year. The former MLB All-star, who played for the Los Angeles Angels and St. Louis Cardinals in the prime of his career, is currently in a romance with Kortnie O’Connor.
