When to watch Fornite’s Galactus event: Start time for the Nexus War – Polygon

Fortnite Chapter 2 season 4 is coming to an end. Galactus, the Destroyer of Worlds and one of Marvel’s classic villains, will appear in-game to mark the season’s end with a live event. And while we don’t know exactly how the event will play out, the appearance of a planet-sized villain in Fortnite isn’t an occasion most fans will want to miss.

Galactus will appear via a special live event on Dec. 1. The event will officially start at 4 p.m. ET, although players should log in much earlier to secure their spot.

In a blog post, Epic recommends players download the latest update and login to Fortnite a full hour before launch — 3 p.m. ET. The Galactus playlist will appear in-game 30 minutes prior to the event, meaning fans will need to stay diligent to get into the queue ASAP.

As for what Galactus will do in this event, we aren’t exactly sure. Marvel’s greatest heroes have certainly foiled Galactus before, but he’s also known for eating planets — anything could happen. No matter what, it seems this event will propel players into Fortnite Chapter 2 season 5.

Past events like Galactus have reached capacity prior to the event starting, so dedicated players who want to see it in-game need to login as early as they can. As always, a bevy of content creators will stream the event for those who can’t make it.

Fortnite Chapter 2 season 5 is set to begin on Wednesday, Dec. 2.
