About four days ago, rumors began circulating that game designer Hideo Kojima, creator of the Metal Gear franchise and Death Stranding, among others, was included as a non-player character in Cyberpunk 2077. Since then, multiple outlets, including IGN and Game Informer, have confirmed the leak with screenshots and guides on how to locate him.

Kojima is reportedly accessible during a mission called “The Heist.” After dismissing their partner, Jackie, to carry the luggage, players can take some time to explore. Leaving a hotel lobby, you can find the designer just before you hit the bar in a booth on the left-hand side.

In the game, Kojima is listed as a character named Oshima. He’s posted up listening to movie pitches, but his likeness is unmistakable. He’s also mentioned in the game’s credits for a special appearance. No surprise, considering that the team at CD Projekt Red already rendered the famous game designer in-fiction to celebrate the Windows PC launch of Death Stranding in July.
