Iowa State men’s basketball season ‘paused indefinitely’

The Iowa State men’s basketball team’s season has been paused indefinitely as a result of COVID-19.Team officials said the pause comes due to COVID-19 protocols within the athletics program. Due to this, the team plans to postpone the game at Kansas this Saturday. “The priority for us is the safety and well-being of everyone in our program,” head coach Steve Prohm said in a statement. “While it is disappointing we won’t be able to play this weekend, we look forward to returning to competition when it is safe to do so.”The team has not yet released any plans for any of the other games this season.
