National Weather Service issues tornado warning in Newton, Barry, Lawrence counties – KYTV

NEWTON COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) – The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning Saturday afternoon for several counties in the Missouri Ozarks, all which have expired as of 5:15 p.m.

Tornado warnings were issued in parts of Barry, Lawrence, McDonald and Newton and McDonald counties. Warnings first came in around 3:45 p.m.

During a tornado warning, a tornado has been sighted or indicated by weather radar and there is imminent danger to life and property. If you’re in the area of a tornado warning, seek shelter immediately.
