When Eddie thought he was dying/being buried alive, most of his memories/flashbacks of his team and family were with his son and Buck. Then, when Buck did the whole lawsuit thing, Eddie was mostly mad that he couldn’t see Buck, and that his son couldn’t as well. Soulmate energy to the max.”
