Rapid Recap: Bucks 115, Jazz 129 – Brew Hoop

Well, it doesn’t seem like the Milwaukee Bucks were anywhere near ending their drought against the Utah Jazz, as they fell 129-115.

NBA.com Box Score

Milwaukee kept it close in the first quarter, down just 31-35 after the initial period. In the second, they started to fall apart, as the Jazz out scored them by 13 en route to a 17-point advantage at halftime. The third quarter boded a little better, but they didn’t make any meaningful strides towards a comeback. By game’s end, there was little doubt the Jazz have Milwaukee’s number in the early start to this season. They’ll have to pick themselves up before closing out the road trip at OKC.

Stat That Stood Out

Milwaukee allowed 73.7% shooting at the rim. The Bucks have slowly worked their way towards the top of the league in terms of rim defense and came into tonight allowing 59.5%. Instead, even on a small volume, the Bucks didn’t deter the Jazz from enforcing their will at the rim on 14-19 shooting.
