If it wasn’t bad enough that the Cleveland Browns embarrassed the Pittsburgh Steelers in the playoffs last season, here’s a little insult to injury. Browns special teams coordinator Mike Priefer, who filled in at head coach for Kevin Stefanski, had the gear he wore that day put in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The reason for the accolades is it was the first time an acting head coach had ever won a playoff game. Stefanski was not allowed to travel with the Browns to Pittsburgh due to being on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
