Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ first manga out this fall in English – Polygon

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is getting its very own manga translated to English in September.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Vol. 1 Deserted Island Diary will focus on the villagers that live on your islands when you’re not around. The comedy manga will feature goofs about a variety of different villagers, as well as tips on how to be a great island representative.

Last year, the Animal Crossing Twitter shared four-panel comics about the Nook family setting up the island for you, comics that were the perfect amount of silly and adorable. Hopefully the upcoming New Horizons manga captures the same essence.

Animal Crossing has had several manga spinoffs, but this will be the first one to be translated to English. Deserted Island Diary is currently ongoing and new volumes will be released two times a year. Viz Media will release the first volume in English on Sept. 21,

New Horizons has been a smash hit since its release in March 2020, as it served as a helpful distraction from the coronavirus pandemic during quarantine.
