Late Wednesday night, Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield tweeted that he was “almost 100%” certain that he saw a UFO come out of the sky near Austin, Texas.
Predictably, Fox sports talk radio host Colin Cowherd jumped on the opportunity to once again criticize Mayfield.
“I would prefer of all the qualities of a franchise quarterback … I want to know your arm. Are you good pre-snap? Are you mobile? The ability to see UFOs in the offseason is nowhere near my top 10 qualifications,” Cowherd said on “The Herd.”
“Joe Montana, Troy Aikman, Terry Bradshaw, Tom Brady have never seen aliens. I would prefer my guys don’t talk about it.”
Well, a few hours later, Brady dunked on Cowherd’s assumption.
“How do you know I’ve never seen aliens Colin?” the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback tweeted Thursday night.

Cowherd has a history of being critical of Mayfield, going back to at least 2018 when the Browns made him the No. 1 pick in the draft. During the week before the Browns’ wild-card playoff game against the division rival Pittsburgh Steelers, Cowherd commented on Mayfield wearing his hat backward.
“That just says playoff loss, doesn’t it?” Cowherd quipped.
After Mayfield and the Browns pulled off a shocking 48-37 win over the Steelers, Mayfield turned his hat backward during his postgame news conference.
