2021 NCAA Tournament live updates: Sweet 16 scores, bracket, college basketball games on Sunday – CBSSports.com

In the first game of the second day of Sweet 16 action Sunday, No. 1 overall seed Gonzaga did what Gonzaga has done all season. The undefeated Zags dominated No. 5 seed Creighton 83-65 with a wire-to-wire win to advance to the Elite Eight. It marks the 28th double-digit win for the historically great Bulldogs, who with the win improve to 29-0 and bask in the category of the Elite Eight for the fifth time in program history.

Gonzaga becomes the second No. 1 seed to a punch a ticket to the Elite Eight joining Baylor, which did so Saturday with its own double-digit win. No. 1 seed Michigan can join the duo Sunday evening as it faces No. 4 seed Florida State on CBS in the second of Sunday’s NCAA Tournament quadruple-header action.

To cap Sunday’s slate, the evening features a TBS doubleheader starting with Alabama-UCLA and culminating with USC-Oregon. The Pac-12 finale marks the first time ever — ever! — that Pac-12 teams will meet in the Big Dance, including the Pac-8 and Pac-10. For Alabama and for USC, a win would signify Elite Eight status for the first time since the early 2000s.
