Jerry Seinfeld’s 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Has Over $250,000 In Options – CarScoops

A special 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS ordered by none other than Jerry Seinfeld is heading to auction later this week.

Seinfeld is a prolific Porsche collector and spent over $250,000 making this GT3 RS unique. For starters, it sports a Liquid Chrome Blue Metallic finish through the Paint-To-Sample program. Those familiar with this color might recognize it from the 918 Spyder. Elsewhere, the sports car is equipped with an axle lift, carbon ceramic brakes, the optional Sport Chrono pack, LED lighting, navigation, and a larger 23-gallon fuel tank.

The Bonhams listing reveals the car had a sticker price of $449,890 and lacks the normal rear wing of the GT3 RS, giving the car a unique look. However, the wing will be included in the sale.

Seinfeld only drove the car for roughly 1,500 miles having had it in both New York and California. It features a Suntek paint protection film to keep everything looking fresh and despite all the options and a $449,890 window sticker when new, pre-auction estimates suggest it may sell for between $290,000 and $330,000.

As a 991.1-generation model, this GT3 RS features a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six with 490 hp and 346 lb-ft (469 Nm) of torque. Coupled to this high-revving engine is a PDK dual-clutch transmission sending power to the rear wheels, allowing the car to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.4 seconds and 124 mph (200 km/h) in 10.9 seconds.
