Portland Trail Blazers center Enes Kanter set a franchise record with 30 rebounds to lead his team to a 118-103 win Saturday night over the Detroit Pistons at the Moda Center.
Kanter, starting in place of Jusuf Nurkic (knee), also scored 24 points on 9 of 16 shooting and had 12 offensive rebounds.
“Enes is such a great guy you could see the bench’s reaction and how happy the team was for him,” Portland coach Terry Stotts said.
The franchise’s previous record for rebounds in a game was 27, set by Sidney Wicks in 1975 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Damian Lillard had 27 points and 10 assists.
The victory snapped a two-game losing streak for the Blazers.

The Blazers ended the third quarter up 95-76. At that point, Kanter had 23 points and 23 rebounds.
The Pistons got to within 111-97 in the fourth, but the Blazers were never in serious jeopardy of letting Detroit back into the game.
