I’m not sure Ryu is the best model for smelling good
Street Fighter is still probably Capcom’s biggest property in terms of official crossovers and cross promotions which takes the world warriors on journeys far removed from the realm of fighting games.
The latest of them has appeared this week with a crossover event going on now in the Fist of the North Star Legends ReVive, and there’s also a new line of Street Fighter fragrances on the way as well.
Fist of the North Star added Ryu, Chun-Li, Sakura and M. Bison to the roster of martial artists available to unlock via the mobile standard Gacha approach.
The mobile RPG includes event missions as well to take on the Street Fighter stars that are each narrated in the iconic Hokuto no Ken style, which is a nice touch.
Supposedly, the game’s website advertises you can obtain Sakura for free for logging in during the promotion, but I don’t currently see anything about that in the actual game itself at the moment.

Often times, crossovers like these are locked into Japan or Asia only, but Sega brought FOTNS and the Street Fighter event to the West as well where it’s scheduled to remain available until May 20.
Around the same time Capcom and Davidoff revealed a new line of Street Fighter-themed fragrances based somehow on Ryu and Chun-Li.

Ryu’s Davidoff Cool Water Champion Edition ‘For Him’ is said to be a mix of “black pepper and green mandarin, blended with gaiac wood” while Chun-Li’s ‘For Her’ is described as “green mandarin and absolute of tuberose, blended with juicy pear accord.”
Funnily enough, this isn’t the first time Street Fighter perfumes / cologne has hit the market in recent years, as Everlast previously released fragrances for Ryu and Balrog.
Unfortunately, these new Davidoff fragrances don’t appear to be available in North America just yet, but they can be picked up in Europe for 50 €, which equates to around $60 USD.
