Twitch Is Not the Platform For This Content
I’d like to just add and say that what those girls are doing isn’t *wrong* and I want them to continue to find success. But I personally don’t think twitch is the platform for it. I wouldn’t make jokes like this if I thought it were a big blight on their careers

Hurting the Platform
I’d say “mic licking meta gate” is not hurting solely women on Twitch – but hurting Twitch in general.
I’m not anti-hot tub streams (I’ve written about why) but the presentation by the banned streamers – charging subs for licking ASMR mics suggestively – is an issue.

It 𝘪𝘴 possible to respect Amouranth’s and Indiefoxx’s hustle while also thinking that their content is bad for the the business viability of Twitch and other Twitch streamers.
