A star-studded crowd was in attendance at Phoenix’s newly named Footprint Center to take in Saturday’s Game 5 of the NBA Finals between the Suns and Milwaukee Bucks.
LeBron James, Kyler Murray, Adele (who is reportedly dating LeBron’s agent Rich Paul), Lil Wayne, Vanessa Hudgens and some guy flexing $100 bills were all at the game.
And while LeBron was there to cheer on his close friend, Chris Paul, fans quickly noticed that LeBron also appeared to have an entire bottle of tequila with him under his seat.
The initial assumption was that LeBron was either served or brought an entire bottle and was allowed to keep it under his seat because he’s LeBron James at an NBA game. But that wasn’t exactly the case.
Once the photo of the courtside tequila bottle made rounds on Twitter, LeBron chimed in to joke that nobody “let” him have a tequila bottle with him at his seat. LeBron, who is an investor in the Lobos 1707 tequila brand, basically admitted that he snuck his own tequila into the game.
Amazing.
Either no arena staffer noticed LeBron was enjoying his own outside beverage or nobody was going to actually confiscate a bottle from LeBron James.
After all, why pay for gouged prices at an arena when you can sneak in your own bottle? Well played, LeBron.
